Home to Some of the Northwest's Most Iconic Ski Descents

North Cascades National Park offers an enormous variety of skiing, from day trips to multi-day traverses, all set in the majestic backdrop of rugged alpine peaks and glaciers. We can access the park from a variety of trailheads, but much of our skiing lies in the iconic Eldorado and Boston Basin areas accessed via Cascade River Road. Classic ski descents in the area include Eldorado, Sahale, the Forbidden Tour, the Inspiration Traverse and Isolation Traverse.

Skills Required

While many of the descents are by no means extreme, spring ski conditions can be highly variable, so you should arrive in good fitness with strong skiing ability. If you feel comfortable skiing black diamond runs in the ski area in any conditions (ice, moguls, powder, chunder), then you’ll be able to tackle these objectives and have a great time doing so! If you have any questions about your ski ability, please feel free to give us a ring to discuss.
