North Cascades National Park offers an enormous variety of skiing, from day trips to multi-day traverses, all set in the majestic backdrop of rugged alpine peaks and glaciers. We can access the park from a variety of trailheads, but much of our skiing lies in the iconic Eldorado and Boston Basin areas accessed via Cascade River Road. Classic ski descents in the area include Eldorado, Sahale, the Forbidden Tour, the Inspiration Traverse and Isolation Traverse.

We often get requests from guides going through the AMGA training program for either additional training for advanced courses or structured preparation for an exam. If you would like to prepare for an upcoming course or exam please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Their schedules fill up quickly, especially right before the alpine and ski exams (late summer and late winter).
The Southwest Rib of South Early Winter Spire (SEWS) is one of the best 5.8 routes in the state. It contains a variety of climbing from chimneys to slabs and everything in between. It is one of our favorite climbs at Washington Pass and many guests come back to climb this route year after year.
