Matt has been guiding and instructing for over 10 years. Though he is originally from the prairies of the midwest he found his way to deserts and mountains of South America and then Colorado, before finding his passion and niche guiding in the North Cascades. He focuses on the full experience of each trip and enjoys nothing more than spending days in the mountains crossing glaciers, climbing rocky ridges, and enjoying the shared experience of the alpine with amazing people. Matt is pursuing AMGA certification.
