Our staff of professional instructors have climbed,
skied, and guided around the world. They are chosen
for their knowledge, maturity, and experience. All guides
are members of the American Mountain Guides Association
and certified in Wilderness First Aid. North Cascades
Mountain Guides operates under permits issued by the
USFS Okanogan District and North Cascades National Park.
North Cascades Mountain Guides will
provide all the necessary group and
instructional gear. Participants provide
their own clothing, food and personal
climbing equipment (unless where noted).
Rental gear is available from either
North Cascades Mountain Guides, Winthrop
Mountain Sports, or Feathered Friends
in Seattle.
North Cascades Mountain Guides is
very pleased to be able to offer it's
clients a discount with Feathered Friends.
Since 1972 they have been producing
world-class down parkas and sleeping
bags; They also run an excellent retail
shop located in Seattle. There you'll
find some of the best climbing, mountaineering
and backcountry skiing equipment around.
