KieraMagrane

Born and raised in Washington, Kiera feels privileged to call the Cascades her lifelong home. She was put on skis at the age of 2 - a move her parents are still feeling the consequences of today. Kiera began her backcountry pursuits in college while studying environmental science and engineering at WSU, and her passion for the outdoors and connecting others with the natural world led her to guiding. Exploring on skis has taken her all over North and South America, though most importantly, led her to find a home in the Methow. When there's not snow on the ground, you can find her climbing and running around the North Cascades, or trying to prolong her ski season on Mt. Rainier, where she works as a climbing ranger.
